Patrick Ammendolia

Class of 1999

The most ferocious animal on earth is the Wolverine. They are small, territorial and fear no one. They are skilled in the hunt, dauntless in attack and protect their own. When Patrick Ammendolia stepped onto any field, football or lacrosse, he carried with him a ferocity and determination that was obvious to both teammates and opponents alike. Pat is the true embodiment of the idea that an athlete's toughness and worth is not measured by physical stature, but through strength, heart, and depth of character. Pat Ammendolia possesses each of these in abundance and more, quietly and with purpose. Patrick's accomplishments and honors are many: AB Captain of football and lacrosse, a DCL All-Star and DCL Defensive MVP and Metro-West All-Scholastic in football, in lacrosse he was a 2-Time DCL All-Star, Boston Globe and Lowell Sun All-Scholastic, and was selected to the All-American Lacrosse Team his senior season. Pat chose lacrosse as a college venue at Eastern Connecticut State University from 2000-2003. The three year starter and long-stick defensive mid-fielder was a 2-Time All New England Selection, a 2-Time All-Little East Conference All-Star, a 2-Time All-American and he was selected to the Senior East-West All-Star Game. His post-collegiate career includes participating in the Australian National Lacrosse Tournament, Assistant Coach at the College of the Holy Cross, and is currently the AB Head Boys Lacrosse Coach. Pat was a graduate student at Boston University in Physical Education. (Patrick graduated from BU yesterday, May 1st). Pat joins his father Tony as father and son AB Hall of Fame Members.
