Kevin Regan

Look up the word "role model" in Webster's Dictionary, you may find a picture of Kevin Regan. In a career spanning three decades, Kevin has excelled as an athlete, coach, teacher and administrator. Kevin is a throw back to the three sport athlete of yore. At AB, Kevin was a three year varsity letterman in football, basketball and baseball, serving as Co-Captain on both the court and diamond, and as an Honor Role student in all seasons. His tenacious attitude belied the intelect and reliability that Kevin provided his team and teammates. With Kevin, it was always team before self, statistics be dammed. Kevin's contagious smile was always evident after throwing a threaded needle pass, cleaning up on a ball carrier, or picking off a runner on first from his catcher's position. Kevin played baseball in college and graduated Cum Laude from Springfield College. Upon graduation, Kevin served as a leader and teacher in many capacities including - two years as AB Jr. Varsity Basketball Coach, and four years as AB Boy's Varsity Basketball Coach. He has also coached high school football and wrestling, and was the Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach at Groton Dunstable High School. Kevin has since turned his talents to the administrative level where he is Principal of the Norman E. Day Elementary School in Westford, Massachusetts. Kevin lives in Westford with his wife Eva, his daughter Lauren, and sons Kyle and Kellen. He is active in the Westford Youth Soccer, Baseball and Basketball programs. The son of fellow Hall of Famer Joe Regan, Kevin's most memorable moments at AB include catching a No-Hitter at Wayland in his first varsity baseball game, and defeating the Maynard Tigers in the first of what turned out to be fierce rivalry in football in 1973.
