Class of 1984
Kerry was finest all-around female athletes of the 1980's or any other era. Kerry earned twelve varsity letters in soccer, basketball and softball. She was a three-time DCL Soccer All-star, as well as a Lowell Sun All-star in that sport. Completing the trifecta, Kerry was also a DCL Basketball and Softball All-star. Complete student athlete, Kerry belonged to The National Honor Society. She is very proud of playing on AB's first girl's soccer team. AB Hall of Fame Coach Dan Boylen considers Kerry, "the best girl soccer player he has ever coached."
As well as being recognized for her accomplishments on the field, this fiery competitor also received AB's Sportsmanship Award. At Franklin Marshall College, Kerry again participated in three sports. As captain of the soccer team and softball team, she was a four time MAC All-star in soccer and a three time MAC All-star in softball. On the pitch, she was voted a NCAA Regional All-star. After graduating from Franklin Marshal, Kerry received a Masters in Sports Sciences from the University of Florida, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After college, Kerry kept her athletic career going by competing in Class A Fast Pitch Softball with her team finishing tenth nationally in 1988 and fourth nationally in 1989. She has been the Windham Country Club Women's Club Champion. Kerry is currently the head athletic trainer at prestigious Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Kerry's most memorable moment at AB was playing in the State Softball Tournament in 1984.
