Chris Pappas

Class of 1982

Chris is an outstanding example of what has become an AB student athlete's all-around excellence. A three-sport, nine-time varsity letter winner, Chris combined technical skills with strength and natural athletic ability garnering All-League status in both football and ice hockey. Chris is a member of a very elite group of AB athletes; a three sport varsity captain. Chris played on three championship football teams as an outstanding tight end and plugger. Chris overlooked and rose above several injuries that would have sidelined a lesser competitor. As an All-League defenseman in hockey, Chris anchored his team's fortunes as a blue line specialist, who could play both a physical and fundamental style without sacrificing his skilled offensive capabilities. Chris attended Williams College as a four-year starter in hockey, continuing his leadership role as captain of the Ephmen his senior season. He was also President of the Williams College Captains Counsel his senior year. All the insight that is necessary regarding Chris is that he was awarded the Richard W. Brooke Memorial Outstanding Sportsmanship Award at AB and The Young Jay Award for Outstanding Leadership at Williams College. Chris was voted the Most Outstanding Male Athlete at AB in a Dalton Trophy Award winning class. Chris resides in Littleton with his wife Monique and his 3 children. He is President of Bates Finishing Supply, Inc., located in Littleton, Massachusetts.
