Bronson Lingamfelter

Class of 1998

The AB Wrestling Program came into existence in the early nineties. It took until 1997 for Bronson Lingamfelter to put AB on the heat map. As a dominant heavyweight, Bronson rocked the high school wrestling world by winning both the Massachusetts and New England heavy weight titles in 1997 and 1998. Bronson earned All Scholastic honors both years with the Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, the Lowell Sun, and the Middlesex News. Intelligent, strong and determined, Bronson used his multi-sport athleticism to dominate his opponents. He parleed his grappling prowess into a four-year stint at Brown University. Bronson continued wrestling dominance as All-Ivy wrestler and a four time NCAA tournament qualifier, helping Brown to win the 2002 Ivy League Championship. Like the New England Patriots Steve Neal, Bronson was equally efficient on the grid iron as he was on the mat. At left tackle he garnered DCL All Star status. And when Coach Maver needed important yardage, the Colonials ran left over Bronson. As proof of his athleticism, Bronson played linebacker and was the team place kicking specialist. Bronson received his Masters in Business from Columbia University and is currently employed at ComiXology in New York City, where he resides with his wife Patricia.
